Dear
Friends & Family, The idea
behind The Evelyn Foundation is to provide monetary support for people
diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma who do not have the financial ability to travel
or pay for the best treatment available at a special Multiple Myeloma institute,
such as UAMS. We hope The
Evelyn Foundation will not just be something that raises money from initial
donations and then fades into our memories.
We hope it will help save lives, and also keep the memory of our mom
alive. By supporting The Evelyn
Foundation, we WILL keep our mom’s memory alive. We will be
sending out a letter within the next few months describing our first event
which will tentatively include a dinner with our mom’s doctor, Dr. Thertulien,
as the keynote speaker. Whether you
plan on donating your time, your energies, or your money- it is important we
all think about how lucky we are to be alive and really think about where we
spend our money. With that said, imagine
these resources actually helping save someone’s life, as they will if invested
in our Foundation. The
